There's one studio in Lowe Mill that has the magical atmosphere of the treasure-filled attics you might remember exploring as a kid. 'Squeaking Tribe Studio' on the second floor is the performance and work space of life-long puppeteer Anna Sue Courtney,. It's a space packed with oddities, assemblages and objects that could spark any person's imagination! Anna Sue collects, tinkers with, and builds puppets of all varieties - including shadow puppets, marionettes, and even towering costume creations that hover far above the puppeteer's head.

Anna Sue can also be found teaching regular classes at the Museum Academy located at Huntsville Museum of Art.
