MELEAH SHROUT | STUDIO 1036

After finishing a Master’s degree in Collaborative Piano I realized I had more to say through music. I began writing pieces of my own, eventually publishing an album of original works in 2013. The pieces I create are relaxing and peaceful; whimsical yet energized. I enjoy performing these pieces for interactive audiences. I believe anyone can learn to make music and I enjoy teaching people of all ages. I love working with adults returning to piano and especially appreciate the chance to work with children on the spectrum for autism. The enjoyment of music knows no age or ability. Along with teaching privately, I enjoy working with college students at the University of Alabama in Huntsville as a staff accompanist. I love seeing the energy young people bring to music.
