Artist Kelly Tamez (Queen Kel The Creator) is finding her place in the vast world of surrealism. Kelly’s journey with acrylic and oil painting began with exploring vibrant color palettes and themes of nature, including whimsical fluorescent elements to create eye-catching contemplation. Her ethereal work embodies her desire to romanticize life with glowing colors in her dreamlike pieces.

Painting is not all that Kelly has to offer, hence the word “CREATOR” in her name. To break up the monotony, Kelly hand sculpts small pottery and dabbles in resin work, alongside eclectic disco ball crafts. Switching up her medium and subject matter allows her to resist creative blocks and remain inspired.
