Josephine Glass | Studio 2008 | Saturn Jive Dance Space

PERFORMANCE
Josephine Glass has always been passionate about movement, from climbing trees and mastering trampolines to gymnastics and martial arts like aikido, Krav Maga, and jiu-jitsu. At 18, she discovered swing dancing and Lindy Hop, which became her favorite form of expression.
She earned a degree in Language and Linguistics with a minor in Dance, focusing on education and kinesiology. In graduate school, her research explored kinesthetic cognition, muscle memory, and partner dance. A USAF veteran, she taught and danced while on active duty.
Josephine founded Saturn Jive Dance Space to preserve and celebrate cultural and social dances. Her mission is simple: to bring people together through the joy of dance.
"We are a Cultural Movement Arts Center in Lowemill A&E Studio 2008. We provide the cultural dance communities a place to be seen and to share their art with the greater community." - Josephine Glass
