Gökden Alpman Matthews is a world-renowned artist whose ceramic sculptures draw from her Turkish heritage and interest in world cultures. She creates everything from playful decor to rich cultural relief sculpture that blends Oriental and European design. Gökden spent years perfecting her craft at ‘Studio Mediteranean’ in Istanbul before establishing her studio at Lowe Mill A&E in Huntsville.
