Gallery Application

To Complete Your Gallery Application, the following materials must be provided:

Please submit digital images of at least 5, but no more than 10 examples of your work. These images should provide a clear idea of your exhibit vision. Files should be uploaded by clicking on the Upload files button. Files should be JPG or PNG, and each file should be no larger than 2MB, and in good focus.

Please note that filling out the application does not guarantee an exhibit. We require a $25 non-refundable application fee. This fee goes towards refreshments at the clolsing reception. After you send this form in, you’ll see a thank you message with a link to pay the fee. Selected artists will be required to sign a contract to officially book an exhibition. Sales commission structure: 60% to the Artist and 40% to Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment with Artist setting the prices. 95% of artwork in the exhibit must be available for sale. There may be a small percentage of work (5%) that is featured and Not For Sale to showcase artists’ abilities or work that has already sold to collectors. Sales transactions will be made by Lowe Mill A&E with one check encompassing all sales during the duration of the exhibit run to be delivered to the artist within two weeks of exhibit removal. As a gallery artist at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, you are expected to conduct yourself professionally, showing courtesy and respect toward employees, visitors, and fellow artists, and to avoid any actions that could be detrimental to others. Disparaging Lowe Mill A&E is not permitted, and targeting, discrimination, intimidation, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Additionally, politics and political campaigning are prohibited; this includes displaying signs, clothing, stickers, symbols, or other materials that may be interpreted as political or promoting a personal ideology. Artist Acknowledgement: I am the owner of all rights to the above described works of art. I understand and agree that Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment agrees to exercise ordinary care for works exhibited at the Gallery. I hereby release and forever discharge Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, directors, employees and volunteers from any responsibility, personal liability, claims, loss or damage whatsoever arising out of the use of the Gallery. For this reason, it is recommended that I carry insurance for my artwork involved in the Gallery. My signature below indicates that I acknowledge said recommendation. I further understand that my artwork cannot be taken from the display premises during public hours and a description and/or photograph of my artwork may be shown or published in Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment newsletter along with other program promotion items such as press releases or websites. I acknowledge that I must be an artist in good standing and that Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, at its sole discretion, has the right to reject any artwork submitted.
