A wonderful kick off to the Gobble Gobble Hey! Zine and Small Press Fest!
FOUR WRITING PROMPTS: THE BEGINNING OF FOUR NEW STORIES OR POEMS
The more you write, the luckier you get—and each time you start a piece, there’s an opportunity to get luckier than ever. The trick is getting started. Here, you’ll not only begin four new pieces, but will learn strategies to begin many more. Please join us in the North Star Classroom Studio 1047 where acclaimed writer and musician Ken Waldman will lead a 90-minute workshop designed for writers of any experience, ability, and age (though recommended for writers at least 16 years old). He will be happy to answer questions attendees have about small-press/DIY publishing. Participants will also receive one of Ken’s own chapbooks! Pre-registration is required.
$30 per student
Students bring paper and pens, or computer in order to compose/write.
