Teen Felting Etc. Workshop

Creative teens are invited to step into a world where texture, color, and imagination collide at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment with this dynamic 3-day Textile Art Workshop at the Denise Onwere Gallery Studio 203. Guided by talented artists Kami Watson Studio 123 and Denise Clayton-Onwere, this immersive experience brings fibers to life through hands-on exploration and bold creative expression.

Throughout the workshop, students dive into the art of wet felting and needle felting, learning how to transform soft materials into richly textured artworks and sculptural forms. From designing layered textile pieces to crafting small soft sculptures, teens are encouraged to experiment freely with color, pattern, and mixed media—pushing the boundaries of what fabric can become.

Perfect for ages 13 and up, this workshop welcomes all skill levels—no experience needed. Along the way, participants build confidence, develop new artistic techniques, and create one-of-a-kind handmade pieces that reflect their personal style.
