Danny Davis of Tangled String Studios studio RR7 in history soaked Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment opens his doors and his stage to jazz artist Eric Essix. For more than 34 years and across 29 albums, Eric Essix has steadily expanded contemporary jazz. From early recordings on Nova and Zebra Records, including the hit “For Real,” to launching Essential Recordings in 2002 with chart-topping tracks like “Shuttlesworth Drive” and “Foot Soldiers,” his music blends gospel roots, Southern heritage, and improvisation. With acclaimed works like Evolution, The Isley Sessions, and his latest album My Heartbeat (2025), Essix continues shaping modern jazz with depth and purpose.
