Swing Dance Rent Party

Josephine Glass Studio 2008 in amazing Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment asks: Have you ever heard of a rent party? It’s an important part of dance history. Rent Parties are where you get your friends together to dance, and they pay what they can to help you make your rent. Everyone has a good time.

And that’s what we’re doing! It’s a house party at our new studio home in Lowe Mill A&E! It’s fun and low pressure, we don’t have an official lesson but we’ll be happy to show you some moves. You can bring your own snacks to share, or not, same with drinks.

This is a community building event. Yes, we dance but Friday Nights are for being together as a community. Being with our friends and doing the thing we love. Swing dance is one of those things! 

We’ll have dj-ed music, but if any musicians wish to come and play with us, please feel free!
