CARRIE RICE | STUDIO 1048

MIXED MEDIA, PHOTOGRAPHY

Carrie Rice is a photographer who specializes in alternative and historical photography processes – namely cyanotype. Much of her work deals with themes such as our relationship with nature. Although she works with a traditionally two dimensional process, her work is also printed on various 3D objects or materials that can be sculpted into such. The Huntsville native loves to travel with her camera in hand, but has always called the south home. She has a BFA in Photography from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She also does some portraiture on occasion, as well as historic photo restoration.
