Places I Remember Workshop with Tatyana Hankinson

Watercolor Workshop_ Places I Remember

November 13 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

UAH Project Space | Studio 1047

About the workshop:

Do you want to learn how to paint your travel photos?

In this workshop we will paint in the distinctive, free flowing alla prima technique, which is ideally suited to watercolor.

Instruction will focus on how to simplify forms and limit your palatte, and handle your watercolor with sensitivity and confidence through demonstration and personal one-on-one instruction.

First we will paint as a practice demo a “Santorini. Dark Clouds” photo from Tatyana’s travel collection.

Next you will paint a photo from your collection with the instructor’s help.

This class is for any level. Beginners and advanced artists are welcome.

All materials will be provided but you can bring any of your own art supplies that you prefer to use.
