Now Entering Alaska Time with Ken Waldman

Please join us in the North Star Classroom Studio 1047 where acclaimed writer and musician Ken Waldman will preform his show titled Now Entering Alaska Time, where he combines fiddle tunes with Alaska-set stories and poems.  This event is free and open to the public.  It follows his Writing Workshop in the same space earlier in the afternoon.  For information about that paid event, please click HERE

In addition to being a fiddler (with 12 CDs), Ken Waldman is a former college professor with an MFA in Creative Writing from University of Alaska Fairbanks. He has 17 full-length poetry collections, a memoir (about his life as a touring artist), 3 children’s books, a creative writing manual, a short story collection, and a novel. Over 400 of his stories, poems, and essays have appeared in such journals as Beloit Poetry Journal and Poets & Writers.   www.kenwaldman.com
