Mike Ball and the Huntsville Traditional Music Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to safeguard and promote traditional music, instruments, and performance styles, encompassing what is generally known as folk, traditional, and old-time music. We aim to deliver enriching and family-friendly entertainment at every event we support or host.

To fulfill our mission, we focus on live performances using acoustic instruments and unaltered human voices, avoiding recorded or electronically enhanced music. The only electronic aids used are microphones and related equipment, which are solely for improving sound quality in larger venues or for bigger audiences, therefore safeguarding the integrity of  traditional music.
