How To Draw – Spongebob Squarepants
Saturday, February 17, 2024
10 AM to 11:30 AM

Suitable for Upper Elementary, Middle School, High School and Adults

**The Character Series are workshops designed to teach you how to identify basic shapes, working from the largest shapes to the smallest (macro to micro or backwards to forwards), how to measure and how to align what you are seeing using those measurements and positive space vs negative space. The idea is that drawing from a popular iconic character that you are already familiar with you will know what that character should look like as you draw it. The skills learned by drawing from characters can help you with anything you choose to draw going forward as these skills are foundational. This class is suitable for upper elementary, middle school, high school and adults. These skills are universal and can be taught at any age. Many adults choose to sign up for these classes, many parents sign up with their children and do these classes. If you are an adult and see a character you are interested in you are welcome to join us!

** In this class the students will learn how to draw Spongebob Squarepants from his popular animated series, from provided reference. The instructor will walk the student through step by step. By the end of the class they should have a recognizable Spongebob!

*All supplies for the character series workshops are provided

* This is an in person class located at Inkspitter Studio within Lowe Mill A&E in Huntsville, AL. Located directly inside Door 2.
