Everyone is always at a different starting point when it comes to drawing and you see this often in group classes. This class is suitable for beginners within that age range.**
Class Description: In this 3 hour class, we will learn how to use fine liners. A material many people have a fascination with, but also find intimidating. We will go over the different sizes of fine liners, the difference between a monoline and a line created with pressure sensitivity. As well as how to balance thin and thick lines and how to use cross hatching and stippling techniques. We will also branch into the world of ink washes using black ink and a brush. The purpose of this class is to show technique and to leave with an understanding of the materials. As well as how to teach you to make corrections and incorporations with such an unforgiving medium. You will leave with a chart you create that you can use as a reference going forward on what to expect from the materials.
**All the materials of this course are provided. And, you get to keep the ink materials. You will be provided with a set of fine liners, india ink and a brush along with the paper. This is included in the cost of the class.
** This is an in person class located at Inkspitter Studio within Lowe Mill A&E in Huntsville, AL. Located directly inside Door 2.
