STEPHEN PITTS | STUDIO 2038 | SYMMETRICAL UNIVERSE

Drawing

The world around us often feels chaotic—cluttered, unbalanced, and disorganized. Objects lean askew, and lines that should be straight or parallel often are not.

In Studio 2038 at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment, Stephen Pitts brings order to this chaos through his art. His intricate pen-and-ink drawings transform disorder into microcosms of precision, where every line connects and every element serves a purpose. Using traditional drafting tools and meticulously freehanding his designs with Rapidograph 3×0 pens, Pitts creates compositions that invite viewers to find harmony in the details.

“My art is inspired by my interest in mechanical design, architectural renderings, crystallography and military technology” says Pitts. “Every detail has a geometric relationship with the whole image and is arranged in a logical orderly way. The result is an image that creates a sense of natural order, harmony and balance.”
