DESCRIPTION:Renee Lowder Studio 127 in magisterial Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment wishes to invite you on a three day creative journey of fun and learning with her latest workshop: Coptic Bound Sketchbook with Exposed Spine. In this workshop you will gain the knowledge of the double-needle coptic method in binding a sketchbook. \n  \nNight One: Oct 2 you will learn how to get the sketchbook ready to sew. That includes learning about paper grain\, tearing the pages\, making signatures\, and poking holes for sewing. \n  \nNight 2: Oct 3 you will sew up our signatures using the coptic stitch. \n  \nNight 3: Oct 4 you will finish the coptic stitches and finish our covers and create a closure.  \n  \nYou will be using Arches fine art paper\, decorative paper provided by  Renee and fine linen thread.
