DESCRIPTION:Around the Curtain Community Children’s Theatre invites you and your family to the Studio Theater in imaginative Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment on October 18 and 19 6pm – 8pm to enjoy the classic story of Sleepy Hollow but with a musical twist. \nThis new musical puts a current spin on the classic Washington Irving story The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. On Halloween night\, three modern-day children find themselves traveling back in time to 18th century New Amsterdam\, arriving right in the middle of Sleepy Hollow with all its odd characters\, traditions\, ghosts and goblins. They’ll need all their ingenuity to get back home to the present! \nABOUT AROUND THE CURTAIN COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S THEATRE \nATC is dedicated to the creation of exceptional and transformative theatrical productions that are performed and supported by the children of North Alabama\, on stage and off. Through the collective efforts of local professionals volunteering their time\, we present a diverse season each year with productions cast towards the different age groups. Students work behind the scenes learning tech\, costuming\, backstage\, props\, sets\, instrumental accompaniment\, and more!  It is our goal that all children have access to the countless benefits that come from an education in the arts\, as well as those of being a part of a community that supports them.

Had he overlooked the specific shade of her eyes while living below sea level? Or did the change of location open his mind more acutely? The record does just that: examine the familiar in the context of the unfamiliar. Emerald Blue is a probing appreciation of the dailiness of life; a note-taking exercise in living.
