Festivities kick off at 4 PM with ceremonial face painting on the East Lawn near the iconic Water Tower\, setting the mood for an unforgettable evening. \nAt 6:00 PM\, gather for the powerful ceremony where we symbolically release our burdens\, struggles\, and hardships. You’ll have the chance to write down anything you wish to let go of on paper\, then place it in a special box under a tent. In a moving procession\, this box will be carried into the field\, where it will be placed inside a mighty dragon effigy and set ablaze. \nThis ritual of release is inspired by age-old customs that honor nature and ancestry. Feel free to enhance the experience by wearing ceremonial attire or face paint as you come together to lighten the emotional load we all carry. \nPlease wear shoes\, as the field does contain gravel. \nRavenwood Meadery invites all to join in this shared experience\, celebrating inclusivity\, nature\, and tradition in a welcoming and safe space.

SUMMARY:Theatre of Fashion Kids and Youth Sewing Classes
DESCRIPTION:Cost is $155 for 4 classes. Classes are 2 hours each.\n \nThe Theatre of Fashion is a school of fashion designing and sewing for children ages 9-17 and adults.\nHere students learn the elements of design\, fashion illustration\,  sewing and fashion presentation (modeling the designed garments). Classes culminate with a presentation of student’s designs (by students) on a runway! \n\n\nCost is $155 for 4 classes. One time registration fee is $15.\n\nInstructor: Anya Sievers is a founder of The Theatre Of Fashion and a small fashion business Anyaberry.  She is excited to continually improve the program offered at The Theatre Of Fashion.

On Halloween night\, three modern-day children find themselves traveling back in time to 18th century New Amsterdam\, arriving right in the middle of Sleepy Hollow with all its odd characters\, traditions\, ghosts and goblins. They’ll need all their ingenuity to get back home to the present! \nABOUT AROUND THE CURTAIN COMMUNITY CHILDREN’S THEATRE \nATC is dedicated to the creation of exceptional and transformative theatrical productions that are performed and supported by the children of North Alabama\, on stage and off. Through the collective efforts of local professionals volunteering their time\, we present a diverse season each year with productions cast towards the different age groups. Students work behind the scenes learning tech\, costuming\, backstage\, props\, sets\, instrumental accompaniment\, and more!  It is our goal that all children have access to the countless benefits that come from an education in the arts\, as well as those of being a part of a community that supports them.
